Question #1442:
In some areas, women hold functions under the title of “the wedding of Fātimah (a.s.)”, where they sing songs, clap and dance. What is the view on these matters?
Answer #1442:
In itself, there is no objection to holding such parties provided that the proceedings do not contain any lies or falsehoods and do not put our school of thought in a bad light. As to dancing, you may see Q.1160.
