Prayer: Praying with Lifeless Parts of a Lawful Carcass
Practical Laws of Islam as per the teachings of Ayatullah Sistani
Ruling 810
If a person performs prayers while he has with him something from the carcass of an animal whose meat is lawful to eat, and that thing is not something that contains life – such as fur or wool – or, if he performs prayers with clothing made from it, his prayers are valid.
