The jurists – may Allah sanctify their souls – have known some things to be disapproved for the clothing of someone performing prayers. These include: wearing black clothes, wearing dirty or tight clothes, wearing the clothes of someone who drinks alcohol, wearing the clothes of someone who does not refrain from impure things, wearing clothes that have a picture of a face on them, leaving buttons open, and wearing a ring that has a picture of a face on it.
