Prayer: Choosing Between Two Routes of Different Distances
Practical Laws of Islam as per the teachings of Ayatullah Sistani
Ruling 1265
If there are two roads to a place – one of them less than eight farsakhs and the other eight or more farsakhs – then, in the event that one goes to that place by the road that is eight farsakhs, he must perform qaṣr prayers. If he goes by the road that is not eight farsakhs, he must perform tamām prayers.
