Prayer: Abandoning the Intention to Sin During a Journey

Ruling 1289
With regard to someone whose journey is a sinful one, if on the way he abandons his intention to sin – irrespective of whether or not the remaining distance on its own, or the sum of both the outward and return journey from that point is eight farsakhs – he must perform qaṣr prayers.
