Important Guidance on the Continuity of Wilayah and Marja'iyyah
Considering the painful martyrdom of Imam Khamenei, a question arises for the followers: “What should be done to continue following?”
The Ruling on Continuity: The followers of the martyred Marja, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, must choose a living Marja to follow or obtain permission from a living Marja and continue to follow the martyred Marja.

Divine Design and Reassurance
The caravan of Ahl al-Bayt is filled with martyrdom—the Aimmah were all martyred—but the system is divinely designed to cater for all eventualities.
The future will be better than the past.
وَٱلضُّحَىٰ وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ وَلَلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَلَسَوۡفَ يُعۡطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرۡضَىٰٓ أَلَمۡ يَجِدۡكَ يَتِيمٗا فَـَٔاوَىٰ وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلّٗا فَهَدَىٰ وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلٗا فَأَغۡنَىٰ فَأَمَّا ٱلۡيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقۡهَرۡ وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنۡهَرۡ وَأَمَّا بِنِعۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثۡ
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful By the morning brightness, and by the night when it is calm! Your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, and the Future shall be better for you than the past. Soon your Lord will give you [that with which] you will be pleased. Did He not find you an orphan, and shelter you? Did He not find you astray, and guide you? Did He not find you needy, and enrich you? So, as for the orphan, do not oppress him; and as for the beggar, do not chide him; and as for your Lord’s blessing, proclaim it!
