Music and Ghinā’: Is It Permissible to Recite Sung Poems Without the Music?

Is it permissible to recite poems which are being sung but without the music?

Answer #1142:

It is ḥarām to sing in a lahwī manner which deviates people from the way of Allah, even if it is not carried out to the accompaniment of music. Just repeating poem does not make it ḥarām.
