Medical Issues: Is Hair Implantation Permissible for Burn Victims Facing Psychological Distress?

Is it permissible to implant hair on the head of a person who suffered burns so much so that they are put under immense psychological pressure because of it?

Answer #1278:

There is no harm in it in itself provided that the implanted hair is taken from an animal whose meat is ḥalāl or human hair is used.
