Khums: Delaying Khums Calculation for Years: What Is the Ruling?

What is the rule if I do not calculate my annual income for several years so that my cash and capital increase with intention to pay khums on all of my property with the exception of the original capital later on?

Answer #979:

At the end of the khums year, if there is any khums on your assets — no matter how little the amount is — then you have no right to delay its payment.
