Ḥarām Gains: Is Buying and Wearing Military Uniforms Permissible?

Some people sell military uniforms. Is it permissible to buy one from them and use it?

Answer #1098:

Should there be a possibility that they acquired these uniforms in accordance with the law, or that they are authorised to sell them, there is no problem in buying from them and making use of them in a way compatible with regulations.
