Ḥarām Gains: Do Women Working in Beauty Salons Undermine Islamic Chastity?

Some women work in beauty shops to provide an income for their families. Does this not lead to immorality, which, in turn, is bound to undermine chastity of the Islamic society?
Answer #1101:
There is no objection to working in beautifying women as such, nor is it objectionable to get paid for it provided that wearing of the makeup is not intended for showing it to non-maḥram men.
