Endowment: Endowing One’s Share of an Inheritance and Validity of Solo Deed**

Is it permissible for an inheritor who has a share in the estate to donate it all by way of endowment? And is it valid to draw up the endowment deed in his name alone?

Answer #2051:

It is valid in his share of the estate alone. As for the shares of the rest of the heirs, this is ruled as fuḍūlī and dependent on their permission.
