Buying and Selling: Transactions Involving a Conditional Sale
Practical Laws of Islam as per the teachings of Ayatullah Sistani
Ruling 2136
In a transaction involving a conditional sale, wherein, for example, a house worth £100,000 is sold for £50,000 with an agreement that if the seller returns the money within a stipulated period he can annul the transaction, the transaction is valid provided the buyer and the seller have a genuine intention to buy and sell.
